ABC News: People of the Year: Bloggers

Halfassitis strikes ABC

ABC has the bloggers as people of the year and it’s fitting.

MSM’s newly found respect or appreciation for bloggers is interesting BUT leave it to just another MSM–ABC–to get it all wrong. ABC basically says that the left column blogs are the people of the year. I wonder though what news did they break or make?

What the right blogs reported:

Rathergate forgeries during a Presidential election cycle

2 Usama tapes that ABC sat on 2 days before a Presidential election

Teresa’s potty mouth and all around weirdness

Swift Vets

The Debates, content over blabber

Operation Iraqi Freedom, why it’s importtant

What the left blogs reported on:

Bush is dumb!

Socialism works!

Let’s disarm and grab our ankles

From the elections to Howard Deans melt down, from the swifties to John Edwards mole and John Kerry’s xsports fame the bloggers did well–the rightwing blogs. No stone went unturned and no liberal went unspanked. ABC you got it wrong–again.

Sure, right-wing blogs helped tear down Howard Dean, but Howard Dean wouldn’t have even been “Howard Dean” if it weren’t for the left-wing bloggers!

Enjoy this time while it lasts. The Rockefellers thought their time would last forever, too.

ABC can not work a calendar, either. Dean’s blog was big in 03. By 04 Dean’s blog was all but dead. Rathergate was comlpletely overlooked by ABC, wonder why? Sure was not because Rathergate proved the bigotry of the MSM – the Union to which ABC belongs.
