Opinion: Mr. Peanut goes to Venezuela

Don’t call my dog – dog.

Jimmy Carter is like manna from heaven for dictators or… maybe peanuts from heaven. He has gone to many countries in the past years and the results have been dictators prospering, why? I don’t have an answer but it seems to me that the last person to lecture on elections is Jimmy Carter.

He went to Cuba and there is no change but in fact Fidel is even more belligerent towards the US than ever before. No change on the island accept on Carter’s part going against the golden rule of leaving politics at the shoreline. In this age of new media Carter himself, as Fidel does, criticizes the President on the world stage every chance he can. Now Carta’ says we need to watch Florida for elections violations? I wonder if Arabia should help us? How about Venezuela?

Speaking of Venezuela, my city of birth, Mr. Peanut sides with Chavez a dictator who recently proposed Cuba Project where Chavez and Cuba join forces to provide free health and education programs to poor Caribbean nations…Wow. Free? Remember Cuba, that little island that had nukes pointed at us? Communists are so warm and cuddly aren’t they? So the touch screen ballot machines get hacked, people are attacked, shot at, and Carter says it’s legite. No surprises.

I don’t think it’s a surprise to anyone that Carter is just another – of the many – Democrats that simply can’t walk the walk. What is surprising is the Dems attacking the President abroad. Hurling charges at the President began below the radar after 9/11 and broke wide open when Mr. Moore and his low budget docuflick premiered. If the democrats don’t honor the Commander and Chief of the United States, why in the hell should other world leaders?

It seems to me that the democrats themselves are damaging our country. The dems are imploding and they don’t care if our country goes down with them. If it wasn’t for the New Media and the blogosphere I believe that the democrats would have a better chance to succeed because their lies would go unchecked.
