Every cube needs a soundtrack, mine…the barber of seville
Ok so it was my birthday. I am thirty. I can’t believe it. Just yesterday I was skipping school and slacking off. How times change.
My cube was vandalized by cube dwellers in my design group (their so creative). Actually it was pretty funny but I will have my revenge. The cube reckoning will come. The day will come when I the super designer thirty nothing will fill a cube with pop corn or tin foil everything in sight or something…muhahaha! Excellent.
Anyway, a couple of months ago a co-worker (Ping) and I redesigned or adjusted by bosses cube. Ping is the chinese version of a (good) Martha Stewart. She actually made her own window coverings and has comitted assorted Martha-esk offenses against her peers, like baking cookies (mmmm) or making chinese sticky rice (mmmm). Damn it I’m hungry now. Please see pic below.

(Notice the excellent workmanship)

(Anything you do do well hehe)
Some notable signs are “drunk people crossing”,”Caution: this sign has sharp edges“, or “Ausfart.”
Why street signs? Because during a trip to Washington D.C. my boss was hell bent on either getting us lost at least three times a day or going down one ways. Interesting to say the least. Another funny situation was trying to “visit Rummy” at the Pentagon. It went like this:
Armed Pentagon guard: (gripping weapon) May I help you?
Us: We want to visit!
Armed Pentagon gaurd: Visit?
Us: We want to tour the Pentagon and see Rummy!
Armed Pentagon guard: We don’t take visitors.
Armed Pentagon guard: (laughs)
Armed Pentagon guard: You should make a u turn.
Us: Ok
Ah yes, twas fun.
Ah hem, back to the entry. The offense, I got toilet papered for my bday like a dork.

Revenge is a dish best served cold. Muhahaha.
One Response to When cube dwellers attack
Very funny. I too work with a creative group of cubesters where pranks are usually an everyday occurance. LOL! Remember…….it is all about the Revenge!
